Charles Clements Endris, 87, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2020. He was a United States Army veteran that served in the Korean War and also a retiree from Jeff Boat in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He always planted a big garden and enjoyed painting.
He was born on August 19, 1932 in New Albany to the late Clements and Elizabeth (Alt) Endris. Charles was also preceded in death by his wife, Virginia (Hall) Endris; and siblings, Frank, Frances, Gertrude, Violet, Arvin and Lillian.
Charles is survived by his daughters, Rebecca Goodman, Katherine Furnish; grandchildren, Amanda and James Goodman, April and Josh Farmer; nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Rosie.
Services will be private and Charles will be laid to rest at Edwardsville Cemetery. Contributions in his memory may be made to Disabled American Veterans (www.dav.org).
