Charles Yandell Elder

Charles Yandell Elder, 69, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on December 6, 2016. He worked as a truck driver for many years and was a U.S. marine veteran who served in Vietnam. Charles enjoyed fishing and traveling.
Charles was born on November 30, 1947 in Leitchfield, Kentucky to Roy and Florence (Wells) Elder. Along with his parents , he was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Elder, and a sister, Adonna O'Neal. Charles is survived by his loving wife; Stacy (Franklin) Elder; his son, James Elder; a niece, Melissa Richards (Terry), nephew, Scott Richards (Crystal), along with several great nieces and nephews.
Cremation was chosen and entrusted in Newcomer Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the ASPCA
