Charles Douglas Baylor

November 8, 1955 — January 10, 2015

Charles "Doug" Baylor, 59, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2015. He lived a full life filled with so much happiness. Doug made the most of the time he was given, especially over this past year.

He was born on November 8, 1955 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Robert and Vernia (Shawler) Baylor. Along with his parents he was also preceded in death by his son, Ronald Douglas Baylor; and siblings, Tom and Mary Alice Baylor.

Doug is survived by his children, Robbie, Amanda, Samantha Baylor; siblings, Danny Baylor (Bonita), Ron Baylor (Carolyn), Mark Baylor, Rebecca Harper (Roger), and Michelle Davis (Pat).

A reception of family and friends will be from 2 to 4 PM on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane New Albany) with a Memorial Service taking place at 4 PM. Cremation was chosen following Doug's wishes.

The family wishes to give special thanks to the excellent staff at Westminster Village for the love, kindness, and care they showed to Doug during his time there. Contributions in Doug's memory may be made to Westminster Village – Nursing Care Facility for resident activities (2200 Green Tree Boulevard North, Clarksville, IN 47129).
