Charles Shelton Davis

Charles Shelton "Chuck" Davis, 82, of Louisville, passed away on November 30, 2016. Chuck was born in Owensboro, KY on October 16, 1934 to the late Alexander and Etta Mae Davis. He worked as an auto mechanic in Louisville for many years before retiring in 2000. He enjoyed HAM Radio, having breakfast with his buddies at Hardee's, visiting with friends at El Nopal, and cheering for the UK Wildcats.

In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by a son, Kenny Davis. He is survived by three children, Julia Cox (Ronald), Bill Davis (Debbie), and Christi Davis (Emma); five grandchildren, Julia Wilfong, Ronald and Stacy Cox, and Leilani and Megan Davis; two great-grandchildren, Ayden Cox and Angel West; and companion, Norma Payne.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Cooper Memorial United Methodist Church (9901 Cooper Church Drive, Louisville, KY 40229) with a memorial gathering from 10:00 am until time of service.
