Charles John Evancho

Charles "Chuck" John Evancho, 67, of Buckner, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021.

He was born on December 30, 1953 in Louisville, Kentucky to Charles and Bertha (Pencek) Evancho. Chuck was a member of Southeast Christian Church and enjoyed attending various bible studies over the years. He retired from General Electric after 42 years of service. Chuck enjoyed playing the guitar and was an avid collector. He loved spending time with his grandsons and his dog Fluffy.

He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Evancho and his mother, Bertha W. Evancho; brother-in-law, Alvin Reece; sister-in-law, Rosie Harris; and nephew, Jeremy Leezer.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Jane Evancho; daughter, Angela Arnold (LaMonte); grandsons, Shaun Cartee (Dava), Landon Arnold, and Ethan Arnold; brother, Robert Evancho (Molly); nieces, Lindsay Miles (Stuart), Corey Drushal (Micah), and Shelley Lawler (Eric); 5 great nephews and 1 great niece on his side of the family; brother and sister-in-laws, Mary Charles (Roy), Irma Hardin (Gary), Tena Workman, Oda Marcum (Dennis), Leonard Reece (Genean), Dexter Reece (Barbara), Dexter Reece (Barbara), Louis Reece; and Algin Reece; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews on his wife's side of the family.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, April 26th and from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 27th at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - East Louisville, (235 Juneau Drive). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Hebron Cemetery in Shepherdsville, Kentucky.
