Charles "CB 8" Bruce, 54, passed away on January 11, 2016. He was a devoted member of Valley Station Church of Christ. "CB 8" was Kentuckian's greatest race fan with many friends across the country. He enjoyed figure 8 racing as a driver and later owned several race cars. Charlie loved music, singing karaoke and was an avid UK fan. One of his fondest memories was watching and sponsoring his only niece Megan in cheerleading. He dedicated his life to his grandmother and taking care of her.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cordia and Margaret Bruce; his grandmother, Allegra Stallard andsister, Sandra Bruce Dawson
He is survived by his sister, Jackie Fields; niece Megan Fields; brother, Denzil Bruce and endless friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 17, 2016, from 2pm-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway) with a celebration of Charlie's life beginning at 7pm.
