Charles Edward Bray

Charles Edward "Charlie" Bray, 65, of Elizabeth, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017. He retired from Ford Motor Company after 33 years of service. Charlie enjoyed bowling and playing horseshoes and was an avid reader of the daily newspaper.

He was born on August 20, 1952, in Nelson County, Kentucky, to the late Alexander and Georgie (Thornsberry) Bray. Charlie was also preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.

Charlie is survived by his wife of 19 years, Anita (Kinley) Bray; children, David Bray, Andy Bray (Lisa), Mary Hardin, Rebecca Hardin, and Joel Hardin; brother, Junior Bray; and 4 grandchildren.

Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with his Funeral Service taking place at 6:00 p.m. Cremation will follow according to Charlie's wishes, and he will be laid to rest privately at Rose Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth.
