Charles Edward Barfield, Sr.

Charles Edward Barfield Sr, 64, of Louisville, KY passed away on September 16, 2025. He was born on June 19, 1961 in Earle, AR to Finus Henry Brown and Blanch Logwood Barfield. He attended Little Rock Central High School, played football and graduated in 1980. Charles married his high school sweetheart, Sharon Beal Barfield, and they remained friends until his death. He received his nurses training at Spencerian College and enjoyed working with geriatric patients. He was a sportsman at heart and kept up with college and professional football and basketball teams. 

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, and his son Charles Edward Barfield jr. Surviving children are Quintin and Erica Barfield, Lisha and Melondy Brown.

Also, others preceding him in death were siblings William Barfield, Lesley, Henry, Georgia Barfield Thomas, Leroy Brown, Finus, Annie Mae, Willie Mae, Mamie, and David Brown. His Surviving siblings: Shirley Barfield Brent, Lillie Barfield Dumas, Trudy Barfield Reed, Archie and Andre Barfield, VeElla Brown, Larry, Roosevelt, Ricky, Howard, Jerry, James and John Brown.
