Charles Edward Allemang

Charles Edward Allemang, affectionately known as Chuck, was born on February 5, 1963, in Louisville. He passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones.

Chuck was a man of many talents and embraced a variety of jobs throughout his career, driven by an unwavering desire to help others. His strong work ethic was matched only by the passion he brought into every aspect of his life. A proud graduate of DeSales High School, he carried with him a big heart and an outgoing, free-spirited personality that endeared him to all who knew him.

His adventures in Florida created a treasure trove of cherished memories, with experiences that left a lasting impact on his family and friends. Chuck had a profound appreciation for nature and enjoyed fishing in the great outdoors. He was also a dedicated fan of UofL sports and loved immersing himself in music, enjoying every moment life had to offer.

Family was of utmost importance to Chuck. He is survived by his daughters Katy and Christina Allemang and step-daughter Alnna Jordan, his mother Janet (Ralph) Hopkins, and his siblings Mike (Sandy) Allemang, Debbie (Don) Chiles, Steven Allemang, and David Allemang. His legacy continues through his grandchildren Kaleb Stepp, Kayla Allemang, King Stepp, Kera Stepp, Kaya Stepp, Autumn Price, and Roxy Price. He is also remembered by a host of extended family, life-long friend Mike O'Shea, long-time companion Kimberly Downey, and ex-wife Teresa Ray.

Chuck's proudest accomplishments included being a devoted father and a good man, earning admiration from all who crossed his path. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and an indomitable spirit that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him. Chuck will be deeply missed, but his joyous spirit will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
