Charlene Marie Salsman

Charlene Marie Salsman, 79, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on January 7, 2015. She retired from Jefferson Circuit Court Clerk's Office and was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.

Charlene was born on September 2, 1935, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Henry and Mary Zwicker. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, David Leon Salsman; and two brothers, Henry Zwicker and Timothy Zwicker.

She is survived by her children, Karen Marie Davis (Walter Craig,) Russell Lee Salsman, Paula Marie Woolley (Timothy Wright,) Joseph David Salsman (Mary Ann,) Thomas Lee Salsman; several loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Jean Paige, Robert Zwicker (Dianne,); and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 9, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). Her Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
