Charlene Radford Adcock, 94, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on July 11, 2015.
She was born in Caldwell County to Charles and Christine Radford on October 18, 1920. She was a member of Woodland Baptist Church and a faithful former member of Auburndale Baptist Church and First Baptist of Mount Washington church as well as founding member of Martwick Baptist Church. She taught Sunday School, GA's, was active in WMU and was very proud to have worked and served families in the Long Run Association Day Care.
Charlene was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Alonzo Adcock, her mother Christine Radford, father Charles Radford, brother Buddy Radford, and her sisters Dale Irvin, and Willie Day.
Charlene is survived by her children Victor Adcock (Pat) and Mark Adcock (Charla); grandchildren LaMoin Adcock (Erin), Deborah Rogers (Morris) and Josh Adcock (Lindsey); great grandchildren Lee Moore, Heather Griffis (Don), Ciera Joye, Victoria Adcock, Olivia Adcock, Tilson Adcock and Temple Adcock; great-great grandchildren Keagan and Gabrielle Griffis and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6-8 pm on Monday, July 13, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243, a Celebration of Life and Eternity with entombment immediately following at Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Washington, KY will be Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 11:00 AM.
