Charity Francis Hill, 76, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. She was born on May 28, 1948 in Lexington, Kentucky to Robert and Jeralene (Curtis) Johnson.

Charity professed a hope in Christ at a young age and became a member of the Main Street Baptist Church.

Charity met and married Warfield P. Hill and later moved to Louisville, Ky. where both united with the Kingdom Land Baptist Church. Charity and Warfield were married for 52 years. She was a wonderful wife and the love of Warfield's heart. She was a loving mother to her children and a dedicated Granny to her grandchildren, a great sister to her siblings, and always loved being around her family. She was a super cook that cooked with love and always had a great meal with a warm smile. She had so many great talents and she will truly be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her Father, Robert J. Johnson; Mother, Jeralene C. Johnson; Father-in-law, Warfield Hill ; Mother-in-law, Alene Hill; Daughter, Crystal Hill; Sons: Perry Tlyenn Hill and Arden Christian Frost; Siblings: Bobbie Lawson and Robert Johnson Jr.; Brothers-in law: James Greenlee, Larry Arnold, and Thomas Hill.

Charity leaves to mourn her passing: Husband, Warfield Hill; Daughter, Warchta Hill; Grandchildren: Cian Hill, Trevonte Hill, Devonte Hill, Sincere Hill, and Silas Smith; Siblings: Ronald Johnson, Carolyn Steed, Doralethea (Charles "Goose") Rodgers, Tommie Caulder, Roger Johnson, Jeralene Greenlee, Peggy Arnold, Jannifer (Elder R. Wayne) Cornelius ; Sister-in-law: Arlene Floyd ; and Good Friends: Anne Burks and Elloweze Gray, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her memory forever.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Kingdom Land Baptist Church, (1822 S. 11th St. Louisville, KY 40208). Her Celebration of Life Service will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, at Kingdom Land Baptist Church.

The family requests that contributions in Charity’s memory be made to Up for Woman and Children (425 S 2nd St. Suite 100 Louisville, KY 40202).
