Celesta Rochelle (Groves) Grant, 50, of New Albany, Indiana was called home on Thursday, March 5, 2015. She was born on July 18, 1964 in Russellville,Kentucky to Maynard and Rosa Pearl Groves. Celesta was a member of the St. Stephens Baptist Church, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and was an avid UofL fan.
She is survived by her husband of 16 years, James Grant, children; Allen , Ahleesha, Anjelicia, brother, Larry Taylor(Olivia), sister, Marjorie First(Cecil), 6 grandchildren; Alanna Groves, Arianna Groves, Samuel Groves, Keanu Cedeno, Lai'Ahna Crowe, and soon to be Kyree Tyler.
There will be a memorial service held on Saturday March 14, 2015 at 1pm at St.Stephens Baptist Church, 1018 South 15th Street, Louisville,Ky 40210.
