Cecil J. Wallace

Cecil J. "CJ" Wallace, of Louisville, KY passed away on August 19, 2021. He was a barber and a die hard UofL fan. CJ always had a good story to tell and had a contagious smile. His daughter, Kendall, meant the world to him and you could tell by the sparkle in his eyes. CJ had unconditional love for his family and cherished the moments with them.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Wallace and his step-father, George Alvey.

CJ is survived by his daughter, Kendall (Chase) Wallace; mother, Janelle (Mark) Alvey-Hardin; half-brother, Ren (Nikki) Alvey and Shawn Harper; step-sister, Angel (Pat) Gerlach; nephews, PJ Gerlach, Alton Gerlach and Kaden Alvey; niece, Marina Alvey; mother of Kendall, Samantha Bowen and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY. A celebration of CJ's life will be Thursday, August 26, 2021, beginning at 12pm.
