Cecil Nevitt

April 16, 1946 — March 25, 2016

Cecil "Lee" Nevitt, age 69 of Louisville, passed away Friday, March 25, 2016. Originally from Battletown, Kentucky, he was born to the late Junius and Bulah Nevitt. He was an Army Veteran and formerly employed with Henry Vogt Machine Company. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Clark.

Cecil is survived by his children, Cheryl Benham (Leon, Jr.) and Cicely Maria Nevitt; grandson, Jack Patrick Benham; siblings, Wilma L. Bewley, Junius A. Nevitt (MaryAnn), Betty B. Dillion, James C. Nevitt (Loraine), William Nevitt (Jo Ann), Jannie Barker (Richard), Dean Nevitt (Mary Jo) and Gary Nevitt (Lucinda); companion, Cindy Gilbert; several nieces and nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 3-8pm Monday, March 28, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. A celebration of Cecil's life will be 11am Tuesday, March 29th at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
