Cecil Thomas Gibbs, 76, of Finchville, Kentucky passed away on July 15, 2019.
Cecil enjoyed life and loved being outdoors. He was a free spirit, enjoyed collecting lawn mowers and riding motorcycles.
Cecil was a US Army Veteran, 101st Airborne Division, he served during Vietnam.
Cecil was born on April 3, 1943 in Shelbyville, Kentucky to the late James and Virginia Gibbs. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Benny Gibbs.
Cecil is survived by his sons, Mark Gibbs (Jessie), Tommy Gibbs (Shannon) and Doug Gibbs; brothers, Jimmy Gibbs, Jr. (Nancy) and Kenny Gibbs; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 am to 12 pm Friday, July 19, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243). Burial will be held at Simpsonville Masonic Cemetery, following visitation on Friday.
