Catina Ann Wilson

Catina Ann Wilson, 50, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025. Catina was an extremely caring, protective, and loving mother , daughter, and partner. She loved all of her children, official and unofficial, with the same sincerity. There wasn’t a person in her life who at some point she didn’t help or offer a hand to. She was the embodiment of a true open door policy for people and pets alike. Whether you were a newborn, a 5 year old from down the block or a 40 year old friend of a friend, you were always welcome to a meal or a nap in her house. She loved to sit in her chair and watch her crime/medical shows, action movies and read. While the hole she leaves behind is too vast to ever be filled, Her love and impact on the people she touched will last a lifetime. She will be missed dearly.

She was born on December 24, 1974 in Louisville, Kentucky to Rickey and Doris (Weatherford) Wilson. She is preceded in death by her Mother, Doris Jean Wilson.

Catina is survived by her loving family, Father, Rickey (Billie Jo) Wilson; Long Term Life Partner, Jeffrey Ratliff; Children, Zachary Wilson, Austin Hornung, and Sierra Ratliff; Grandmother, Nellie Wilson; Step-Siblings, Jamie (Mike) Roach, Junior (Christina) Coleman, and Christopher (Megan) Coleman, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and unofficial children to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Visitation will continue on Monday June 9th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm with her Celebration of Life Service will be at 1:00 pm on Monday June 9th, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West in Louisville, Kentucky.

The family requests that contributions in Catina’s memory be made to The American Diabetes Association.
