Cathy Lynn (Lames) Brown

Cathy Lynn (Lames) Brown, 64, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020. Cathy loved gossiping with her sisters and caring for her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was born on August 27, 1956, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Louis and Bonnie (Juliott) Lames. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Brown; and siblings, Alice Lames, Brenda Bell, Mike Lames, Sheila Proctor, Gary Lames, and Larry Lames.

Cathy is survived by her children, Mark (Melissa) Lowe, Tommy (Gwendolen) Lowe, Sr., and Joshua Brown; grandchildren, Tyesha Lowe, April Lowe, Keisha Lowe, Jordan Lowe, Nicole Lowe, Tommy Lowe, Jr., Jonathan Lowe, and Krew Lowe; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Vicky (Frank) Pease, Shirley (Gary) Elliot, Barbara (Ronnie) Sumner, and Martha Proctor; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 15, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane). Her Funeral Service will be at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home with cremation to follow according to her wishes.
