Catherine Marie Trindeitmar

Catherine Marie "Katie" Trindeitmar, 81, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021. She was a long-time member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in New Albany.
She was born on December 16, 1939, in Floyd County, Indiana, to Edward and Rose (Schulz) Trindeitmar. In addition to her parents, Katie was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Smith. Katie is survived by her sisters, Mary Ann Cosgrove (William), Dorothy Hunt, and Thelma Rudolph (Doug); niece, Leanna Mayo and her son, Sam; nephew, Stephen Smith (Steven); and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 22, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (1752 Scheller Lane, New Albany, IN 47150) with cremation to follow according to Katie's wish. She will be laid to rest privately with her parents at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church Cemetery in Floyds Knobs.
