Catherine Rose Patterson (Newton), born in Holy Cross, KY in 1931, passed away July 22 in Louisville, KY. Rose was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, John J. Patterson, Jr.
Mrs. Patterson is survived by her loving sons, David S. Patterson (Kathryn) and John J. Patterson III (Donna); 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Margaret Scott and Doris Spaulding. She loved the Lord Jesus and spoke of her assurance of being with him in heaven.
Visitation will be Friday, July 24, 2015 from 5-8 PM and Saturday, July 25th from 9-11 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive, with funeral ceremony at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to KY Humane Society.
