She was born on October 25, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky to Jack and Nora (Alvey) Thorpe. She is preceded in death by her Father, Jack Thorpe, Sr. and Husband, Stan McElya.
Cathy is survived by her Son, John Pace (Janet Holt), Granddaughter, Mara Porter, Mother, Nora J Thorpe, Brothers, Jack Thorpe, Mike (Mary Beth) Thorpe, and Kevin Thorpe, Sister, Dottie Whitlow. Cathy also leaves behind to cherish her memory host of Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Extended Family.
A Private Family Gathering will be held at a Later Date.
