Catherine Louise Bench, age 96 of Louisville, passed away Monday, November 4, 2013. She was a member of Bethel St. Paul United Church of Christ and was a bookkeeper for Boone Gardiner Nursery. She was preceded in death by her husband, John and her parents, John and Adina Koehler Gerlach.
Mrs. Bench is survived by her loving sons, William and John (Pat) Bench (Brenda); 3 grandchildren; and also a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral ceremony will be 10am Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8pm Wednesday and after 9:30 am Thursday at the funeral home.
