Catherine Elizabeth "Cathy/ Hustie" (Abell) Williams, 63, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on September 16, 2016. She loved her home and taking care of her family and pets. Cathy was an Army Veteran.
Cathy was born on February 27, 1953, in New Albany, Indiana to the late William Thomas and Delia Catherine (Allen) Abell. She was also preceded in death by four of her siblings.
Cathy is survived by her husband of 36 years, John Asberry Williams; daughter, Felicia Renee Ford (Eddie); granddaughter, Alicia Nicole Ford; dear friend, Nadine Fluhr; and a host of many siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm Monday, September 19, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272). Her Funeral Ceremony will follow visitation on Monday at the funeral home at 7:00 pm. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens (279 Landis Lane, Mount Washington, KY 40047 (right off of Bardstown Road)) on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 10:00 am.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hosparus of Louisville and the American Cancer Society.
