Catherine M. Bruner

Catherine M. "Cathy" Bruner, 34, passed away on April 14, 2019. She was a loving and devoted mother that would help anyone in need. She was a rare and beautiful soul, she had this infectious energy that made you want to run next to her, she belonged to no one, but herself and to anyone that was yet to understand themselves, always found the missing pieces in her presence.

She was preceded in death by her uncle, George Casey.

Cathy is survived by her son, Justice Jayes; mother, Kimberly and John Montgomery; brothers, Jeffery Burns and Tommy (Shelby) Burns; niece, Kallie Mae; father, Michael Bruner and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 12pm-6pm with celebration of Cathy's life beginning at 6pm.
