Catherine Bauer Hough

Catherine Bauer Hough, 82, of Louisville, passed away on December 15, 2015. Catherine was born in Louisville on May 18, 1933, to the late Ernest and Ruby Bauer. She worked in retail for 30 years and made many friends through her work. Catherine was a Christian by faith and was involved with several churches over the years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Don Bauer and Stuart Bauer; and a sister, Ruth Dickson.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Ray Hough; daughters, Deborah Burnett (Doug), Pamela Anders (Don), and Karen Lewis (Butch); 5 grandchildren, 1 step-grandchild, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way, and 2 great-great-grandsons; and brothers, Ernie Bauer (Sissy) and Bruce Bauer (Susan).

Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272) with funeral service beginning at 12:30 pm. Burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens - West will follow services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Hosparus of Louisville.
