Catherine Jane (Allison) Settles

Catherine Jane (Allison) Settles, 80 passed away on Saturday April 24th, 2021 at her home that she shared with her husband, Bill, for 54 years. Her granddaughter was with her until the end. She was born to the late Rev. Joe & Vena Allison on April 30, 1940 in Louisville, KY

She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Settles, 1 sister Virginia Hollis, 7 brothers James Clay "Bud" Allison, Chester Glen Allison, Dennis Carlton Allison, Joseph Milton "Mickey" Allison, Ralph Edward Allison, David Holmes Allison, & E.A. "Toby" Allison. She was also predeceased by several nieces & nephews.

She worked at Dixie Warehouse, then worked for H&R Block for 45 years. She was also a Tax instructor for H&R Block for 9 years. She was a member of the Jimmy Swaggart Ministries in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was Treasurer for several churches through her 80 years & a wonderful Sunday School teacher over 40 years.
She is survived by her daughter Dana L Davis RN, granddaughter Chloe Elizabeth Sanchez & her husband Elieser Sanchez. One sister Laverne Allison Kessinger (Eldon), Special friends Bobby Basham & Pat Irlas, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends & colleagues also survive.

Visitation will be held from 10am until 6pm on Thursday May 6th, 2021 with the funeral being held at 6pm.
Expressions of sympathy may be expressed by donations to Hosparus of Louisville, WHAS Crusade for Children, or the Jimmy Swaggart Ministries in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
