Cassandra DeAnn "Cassie" (Crone) Butcher, 46, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020. Cassie was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, and granddaughter.
She was born on May 22, 1973, in Louisville, Kentucky, to George Crone, Sr., and Suzanne (Sampson) Lance. She is preceded in death by her sister, Angela Crone; and grandparents, Robert Crone, Frank Sampson, and Dee Sampson.
Along with her parents, Cassie is survived by her children, Kegan Unkle and Heaven Butcher; siblings, George (April) Crone, Jr., Linnea (Josue) Torres-Bosh, Mona (Paul) Glick, Josh (Jena) Taylor, and Jennifer (John Demoff) Taylor; grandmother, JoAnn Crone; and granddaughters, Aurora Unkle and Emori Unkle.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany. Her Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with cremation to follow according to Cassie's wishes.
The family requests that contributions in Cassie's memory be made to the Christian Motorcyclists Association-RFS "Run For the Son" (P.O. Box #9, Hatfield, AR 71945) or The First Baptist Church of Salem Building Fund (200 E Walnut St., Salem, IN 47167).
