Cary Lee Baker

Cary Lee Baker, 61, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. Cary was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a brilliant artist who had his own publishing company for many years and won numerous awards at school for his art. He was an avid SciFi and music lover. He was a proud US Army veteran who served our country with honor and courage.

He was born on September 10, 1960 in Burksville, Kentucky to Joseph and Ruby (Cary) Baker. He is preceded in death by his Father, Joseph Lee Baker.

Cary is survived by his loving Wife of 26 years, Laurel Lee Baker; Mother, Ruby Nell Burchett, Step-Father, William Russell Burchett; Children, Christopher Centauri Baker, Hayden Shade Baker, and Cage Hendrix Baker; Siblings, Dameta Jo (Milton) Muhammad, Tracy Baker, James Baker, and Sonia Burchett; Nieces & Nephews, Kermeda Baker, Yasmin Baker, Ko'Shea Henry, Julius Greening, Shania Greening, Trinity Jarrett, and Ka'Beyon Trice, as well as a host of family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
