Carroll "C.R." Allen

Carroll "C.R." Allen, 73, of Louisville, KY passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018. Carroll enjoyed hunting and fishing, working with his hands, anything that would get him outside and when grandchildren visited. He was a well loved husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be deeply missed.

He was born on February 20, 1945 in Wise, VA to Sam and Janney Pearl (Rose) Allen. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Terry W. Allen

Carroll is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Patricia Crimmins Allen; daughter, Jennifer (Matthew) Osegard; son, Brian W. Allen; grandchildren, Samantha, Johnathan, and Ryan Osegard; sibilings, Gracie Vester, Larry G. and Benny L. Allen.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Mt. Washington.

The family requests that contributions in Carroll's memory be made to Leukemia Research Foundation.
