Carrol Lane Roth

Carrol Lane Smith Roth, 75, of Louisville, passed away, Thursday, October 7, 2021, with her daughters by her side. Carrol retired from MeadWestvaco, but still fondly recalled her years at Curtis Market where she was affectionately known as Shorty. She was an avid collector, loved to dance, loved shoes and was always in search of a bargain. Carrol would always help anyone in need.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Phillip Roth.

Carrol is survived by her daughters, Tracy (Gary) Langley and Misty (Jeremy) Yates; grandchildren, Levi (Tory) Langley, Shelbi (Cody) West, Jared Judd and Jesse Judd; great-grandsons, Cohen, Clooney and Keller West; two bonus granddaughters, Shelby McGuire and Kimberly Yates and many special family members and close friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 17, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 12pm-6pm with a celebration of Carrol's life beginning at 5pm.
