Carrie Michelle Gerdon

Carrie Michelle Gerdon, 35, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018. She loved to go fishing and swimming. Carrie had a contagious laugh with a kind and gentle personality.

She was born on February 17, 1983 in New Albany, Indiana to Terry (Warren) Gerdon and the late David Gerdon. Along with her father, Carrie was also preceded in death by her brother, Jeremy Gerdon.

In addition to her mother, Carrie is survived by her daughter, Taylor Crain; brother, Michael Gerdon (Stephanie); nephews, Dylan and Alex Gerdon; niece, Mikaela Thomas; grandfather, Ernest Warren (Elaine); the father of her daughter, Phillip Crain (Heather Dever); as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be from 3 PM to 8 PM Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Friday after 11 AM. Her Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM on Friday, August 3, 2018 in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Louden's Chapel in DePauw, Indiana.
