Carolyn Pirrman

Carolyn Pirrman, age 84 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. Carolyn was born November 23, 1940 to the late Raymond and Ruth Eaton Collins. She graduated from DuPont Manual High School and retired from Old Fitzgerald Distillery and worked for H&R Block.  Carolyn first and foremost loved spending time with her family.  One of her favorite places to visit was Walt Disney World.  She was an avid roller coaster rider.  She  loved the beach and horseracing, the Louisville Cardinals, cruises and boating. She also loved spending time at the casino and you never saw her without her diet Coke.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Robert Pirrman, Sr.; grandson, Blake Applegate; her daughter, Kim Applegate; her brother, Jerry Eaton; and her nephew, Jerry Wayne Eaton.  

Carolyn is survived by her children, Kendall Strong and Robert Pirrman, Jr.; granddaughter, Shelby Biller; great-grandchildren, Levi and Drew; her sister, Kathy Collins Woods; and a host of relatives and friends.

A gathering to celebrate Carolyn's life will be held 5pm to 8pm on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243.
