Carolyn Mae Murphy

Carolyn Mae Murphy, passed away on December 24, 2014. She was a member of South Jefferson Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, home improvement projects and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Charles Murphy; brother, Robert Dragoo and her parents, William and Lillian Dragoo.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Susan (Paul) Krider, Karen (Garry) Dukes and David Murphy; grandchildren, Michelle Krider, DP Krider (Amanda), Alex Murphy, Paige Murphy and Jacob Reidinger; great-grandchildren, Nicholas Renfro, Madison Krider and Austin Krider.

Visitation will be Monday, December 29, 2014, from 3pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway). A celebration of life for Carolyn will be Tuesday, December 30, 2014, beginning at 1pm at Newcomer Funeral Home.

Interment will be at Bethany Cemetery, 10917 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY.
