Carolyn Lee Meanus (Fulks)
October 28, 1946 — April 15, 2016
Carolyn Lee Meanus (Fulks), 69, daughter of the late James Fulks and Emma L. Rayford was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on October 28, 1946 and has resided in Louisville for the last 40 years.
She attended Grace Congregational Methodist Church. She attended Roy Miller High School and was a retired Banquet Server at Executive Inn West.
Carolyn Departed this life on April 15, 2016.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her companion of 35 years, Richard David Manning Jr. and her ex husband, Walter Meanus Jr.
Carolyn leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Ms. Yvonne Fulks and Mrs. Edrena Meanus Cosby; two sons, Walter Meanus III and George L. Meanus; a son-in-law, Michael Cosby; four sisters, Sandra Rayford, Denise Renae Rayford, LaDonna Rayford and Yvonne Fulks; two brothers, George Rayford Jr. and Butch Fulks; eight grandchildren, Jonathan, Shayane, Talisa, Ashley, Laqueshia, Larry, Alonzo and Michael; granddaughter-in-law, Michelle Dewitt Fulks; 16 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville.
Her Funeral Ceremony will be held Saturday at 5:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
Yea tough I walk thru the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me, your rod and your staff they comfort me.
