Carolina Ortiz Garcia, 98, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2020. She was a retired registered nurse and attended St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Clarksville. Carolina's life was centered around her strong faith and devotion to prayer. She traveled on many pilgrimages around the world.
She was born on June 5, 1922, in Atimonan, Philippines, to the late Antonino and Catalina (Ortiz) Garcia. Carolina is survived by her nieces and nephews, Malou Cagadas (Enri), Dr. Edgardo Garcia (Victoria), Susanna Tolentino (Boy), Nina Talavera (Eman), Margie Garcia, Tutay Reyes (Romeo), Oya Garcia, Nona Garcia, and Anjo Garcia; as well as many great-nieces and -nephews.
Cremation was chosen following Carolina's wishes, and she will be laid to rest in Atimonan, Philippines.
