Carole Jean Sanders

Carole Jean Sanders, 76, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020. Carole was a devout Jehovah Witness and loved spreading the good news to everyone every day. She loved cooking and spending time with family and gardening. She had a passion for music.

She was born on August 29, 1943 in Louisville, Kentucky to Harvey and Lavanna (Braxton) Larkins. She is preceded in death by her Mother, Lavanna Larkins, Father, Harvey D Braxton; Siblings Anna M Pope, James E Braxton, William F Braxton, and John B Braxton,

Carole is survived by her loving Husband of 41 years, Charlie Ford Sanders; Children Vernon "Jerry" Braxton, Lisa R. Carthen, and Shawn T Braxton; Grandchildren, Tia P (Kelvin) Braxton, Tiffany Braxton, Jasmine M (Desmond) Rowan, Dashontanae M. (Aaron) Braxton, and Shar-Ron T Braxton; Great-Grandchildren, Ortavia R Robinson, Owen E. Robinson, Dazaree Turner, Dakota Shontee, Kaleb Gatson, Torian Harrell, Cannon Katoe, and Orion E. Robinson; Siblings, Mary E Salaam and Clara B Manso.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Memorial Service will be at 5:30 pm on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
