Carol Ann Whitman , 57, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2019.
She was born on March 1, 1961 in Louisville, Kentucky to John and Gerladine (Oaks) Whitman. Carol enjoyed country music and cooking. She loved her kids and her grandbabies.
She is preceded in death by her Parents, Son, Tony Whitman, and Brother, Ralph Whitman.
Carol is survived by her Life Partner, Dwight Newman, Daughter, Keeshia Whitman, Sons, Dwight Whitman and Dominique Whitman, Sisters, Vivian Johnson and Nancy Cable, Grandkids, Derrick Short, Jr., Kyran Barnett, Kameron Kirtley, Journei Gordon, and Tony Long, Jr., Special Nieces, Kenetra Stockton, Jasmine Sullivan, Stephanie Johnson, Latasha Reid, Karen Johnson, Daneisha Whitman, and Nephews, James Bruce and Ralph Whitman, Jr.
Visitation will be from 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 4:00 pm on Sunday at the funeral home with cremation to follow.
