Carol Ann Sylvia, 76, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018.
She was born on September 8, 1942 in New Bedford, Massachusetts to John and Lucy (Bavoux) Rowand. Carol worked for 30 years with Stride Rite in Louisville. She loved to travel and visit new places. She had a love for life and left many dear memories with all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her Father, John Rowand, Mother, Lucy Olga Rowand, and Sister, Joan Case.
Carol is survived by her Niece, Cathy Barton (Tim), Nephews, Sherman Case (Kim) and John Case (Tammy), 3 Great Nieces, 5 Great Nephews, 6 Great Great Nieces, and 3 Great Great Nephews.
Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7 PM following the visitation at the funeral home.
