Carol Judith Ritter

Carol Judith Ritter, 83, passed away on October 18, 2021. She loved camping, spending time with her friends and reading. Carol had a heart of gold and was loved by all her that knew her. While living in Symphony at Valley Farms she always enjoyed having meals with her "crew".

She was preceded in death by her husband, Coy Ritter; parents, Robert and Louise Caffee and her sister, Joyce Jenkins.

Carol leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Fred (Beth) Burton, Bobby (Kathy) Burton, Mindy Burton and Daniel (Tammy Ollier) Burton; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Bill (Sandy) Caffee; sister, Jan (John) Lewis and fur-baby, Buddy.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 4pm-8pm. A celebration of Carol's life will be Wednesday, October 27, 2021 beginning at 11am at the funeral home.

Carol will be entombed at Bethany Memorial Cemetery, 10917 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY.

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations be made to the Humane Society of Kentucky, 241 Steedly Dr, Louisville, KY 40214.

The family would like to give special thanks to Symphony at Valley Farms for the love and care they gave to Carol.
