Her artistic endeavors extended beyond mere clothing; they were manifestations of her profound affection, bringing warmth and joy into the lives she touched.
Her love for vacations, particularly in the embrace of nature, spoke volumes of her appreciation for the beauty that surrounded her. Whether traversing the trails of the Smoky Mountains or engaging in quiet reflection by tranquil streams, Carol’s zest for life shone through in every expedition.
A woman of strong character, she maintained her Catholic faith with unwavering devotion, serving as a beacon of hope and compassion to all who sought solace in her presence. Her faith was not merely a portion of her identity but rather the lens through which she viewed the world, guiding her through life’s unpredictable currents.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Lucas; parents, Richard and Dorothy Helstern; brother, Donald Helstern and granddaughter, Amber Williams.
Carol leaves to cherish her memories her children, Alvin Lucas, Jr., Tina (Brian) Williams, Michael (Angela Wiseman) Lucas, Kimberly Lucas and Jennifer (Scott) Burns; 7 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
