Carol Jean Autrey, 71, of Louisville, passed away on April 24, 2015.
Carol was born in Louisville on June 21, 1943 to the late Edward and Geneva (Harris) Wheatley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Keith Brian Autrey, Sr.; and sisters, Darlene DeVore and Rosie Scott.
Survivors include her grandson, Keith Brian Autrey, Jr.; sisters, Beverly McCarty, Marilyn Shanks, and Gail Wheatley; daughter-in-law, Rita Autrey; long-time companion, Pat Riney; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy). Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00 am at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Michael Cemetery.
