Carol Ann (Timmer) Flum

Carol Ann (Timmer) Flum, 81, of New Albany, Indiana, formerly of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 23, 2017. She was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Hamilton, Ohio, and was also a former food service manager at Camp Campbell Gard. Carol had been a volunteer for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and was a member at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in New Albany.

She was born on May 31, 1935, in Hamilton, Ohio, to the late Joseph and Vessie (Minor) Timmer. Carol was also preceded in death by her son, Donald Flum; and siblings, Thomas Timmer and Joretta Cox.

Carol is survived by her loving children, Christina Flum, Gregory Flum (Krysta), Kathleen Rasp (Kenneth), Mark Flum (Jeanette), and Andrew Flum (Paula); 12 grandchildren; and 1 great-granddaughter.

Cremation was chosen following Carol's wishes. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (1752 Scheller Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150). She was laid to rest at St. Stephen's Catholic Cemetery in Hamilton.
