Carol Sue Bentley

Carol Sue "Susie" Bentley, 66, of Brooks, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022. Susie was a very sweet and giving woman that had the patience of a Saint. She gave to everyone and never expected anything in return. She was Ron's secretary, and a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved the beach and the ocean. Susie made friends with everyone she met and kept in touch with all of them. She will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was born on April 9, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky to Raymond and Carolyn Felker. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Susie is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Ron Bentley; daughter, Kimberly Bentley; sons, Bobby Bentley, Ricky Bentley; granddaughter, Hannah (Billy) Smith; grandson, Nate Bratcher; great-granddaughter, Novaleigh Smith; brother, Doug (Terri) Felker; sisters, Patty (Doug) Smith, Sarah (Jamie) Davidson; mother-in-law, Dottie Bentley; as well as a host of family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Sunday, April 24, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.

The family requests that contributions in Susie's memory be made to St. Jude.
