Carol Jones, aged 75, of Louisville, Kentucky, departed this world peacefully on August 28, 2026, surrounded by the love of her son and grandsons.

Born in Louisville on December 21, 1950, to Vernon and Dorothy Lile, Carol embraced life with a warm spirit and boundless affection. She was a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, beloved sister, and steadfast friend. Her time was richly spent quilting, scrapbooking, enjoying scary movies, and, most importantly, embracing her family. Carol's vibrant personality was evident in her storytelling, family devotion, candidness, and delightful sense of humor. Her profound love knew no bounds, remaining loyal and forgiving.

Preceded in death by her beloved mother, Dorothy McCarty, father, Vernon Lile, and brother, John Lile, Carol leaves a tapestry of memories with her son, Jody Worth; grandsons, Caden and Cody; great-grandchildren, Ellie, Ollie, Audrey, and Archie; her sister, Rose Mary Hunter; brothers, Vernon Lile, Jr., and Mark Lile; and cherished grand-dogs, Fiona and Freya. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her extended family and countless friends, who will forever treasure her memory.
