Carmen Doris Schneider, 71, passed away on June 25, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her father, Luis Melendez and her brother, Edwin Melendez.
Doris is survived by her mother, Carmen Melendez; brother, Hector Melendez; sister, Arlene Melendez; 10 nieces and nephews and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 9am-11am with a celebration of Doris's life beginning at 11am.
Doris will be laid to rest at Bethany Cemetery, 10907 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY beginning at 12pm.
