Carma Gaye (Jarvis) Spond, 58, of Central City, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018. She was a very gifted knitter who loved to knit blankets for her family and friends.

She was born on August 27, 1960, in Greenville, Kentucky. She is preceded in death by her son, Robert Spond, Jr.; and sister, Leanne Hutchison.

Carma is survived by her loving husband of nearly 25 years, Bob Spond; daughter, Rhonda Nelson (Mark); brother, Richard Jarvis (Denise); niece, Lexi Self (Sam); nephews, Orry Jarvis (Breanna) and Zane Hutchison; and 3 grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 16, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
