Carlos Jr. Woods

Carlos Jr. Woods,80 , of Louisville, passed away on April 4, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 22, 1936 to the late George Woods and Gertrude Brownfield in Glasgow, Kentucky. He was a glazier and was of the Catholic Faith.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Woods; a granddaughter, Nikki Woods; a daughter-in-law, Lane Woods and a son- in-law, Rick Lewallen.

Carlos is survived by his loving children, Cindi Lewallen, Antonia Lynn Woods, Charles Allen Woods, Kimberly Sue Woods, John Scott Woods and Christopher Paul Woods; nine grandchildren, Joshua Johnson, Jessica Lynn Dolson, Justin Lewallen (Brittany), Ashley Lewallen, Charles Woods Jr., Samantha Woods, Christopher Woods, Eric Woods and Madison Woods; nine great-grandchildren, Jaelyn Lewallen, Peyton Lewallen, Dakota Diehl, Alexandra Dolson, Seth Gogel, Chance Woods, Cameron Woods, Kian Woods and Isaiah Ford and numerous siblings.

A service to celebrate Carlos' life will be conducted Friday, April 8, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home-Southwest Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be from 4-8 on Thursday at the funeral home. A graveside service will be at 10:00 on Monday, April 11, 2016 at St. Michaels Cemetery.
