Carla Jean Messer, 49, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020. She was born on January 11, 1971 in Louisville, Kentucky. She was a nurse at University of Louisville Hospital. She was an avid UK and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She was a devoted wife, a loving mom and an amazing grandmother who loved her grandchildren to the moon and back.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Rachel Messer; her father, Joey Doyle Sr.; and her grandmother Daisy Scherzinger.
Left to cherish her memory is her, husband, Robert Messer; her sons, Aaron Rudy Messer, Joey (Chelsea) Messer, Robert C. (Kristie) Messer; grandchildren, Isabella Messer, Rachel Messer, Haley Messer, Vanessa Delfino, Briella Messer, Carter Messer, Josiah Cadlett; her mother, Myrtle Doyle; siblings, J.J. Doyle, Ron (Katrina) Goodman and David (Christen) Goodman; and a host of extended family and friends.
