Carl William Vigar

Carl William Vigar, 87, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Mercy Providence Retirement Home. He worked for Purity Maid Diary, in New Albany, Indiana for 25 years, and retired from Kroger after 30 years. Carl was a hardworker and also worked for various restaurants throughout New Albany, Indiana.

He was born on April 14, 1928 in New Albany to the late Frank B. and Evelyn L. (Day) Vigar. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty L. Vigar, parents, Frank and Evelyn (Day) Vigar.

Carl is survived by his loving family; children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 3 PM to 8 PM on Friday, December 11, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home with entombment to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
