Carl William "Bill" Hammerbeck, 61, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on March 4, 2017.
Bill was born on January 28, 1956 in Erie, Pennsylvania. He is preceded in death by his father, George E. Hammerbeck, Sr.; and brother, George E. Hammerbeck, Jr.
He is survived by his best friend & loving partner, Karla Sanders; mother, Joan Hammerbeck; sisters, Dr. Carol M. Hammerbeck and Toni Hammerbeck; nieces, Marie Hammerbeck, Melanie Dolash, Kathryn Schweizer, Abigail Schweizer; nephews, George "Ed" Hammerbeck (Lorraine) and John Schweizer.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Middletown United Methodist Church (11902 Old Shelbyville Rd, Louisville, KY 40243), with a memorial service to follow at 12 noon in the chapel at the church.
In loving memory of Bill, memorial contributions may be made to Little Black Dog Alliance (40 Forest Drive, Jeffersonville, IN 47130.)
